SN-MT Connector

The SN-MT connector is designed for high density applications with its compact size and push-pull boots. The SN-MT is offered in 16F, and has 2.7 x the density than 16F MPO. SN-MT keeps the same footprint as the SN so it can fit 64 fibers in QSFP-DD or OSFP modules.

  • 2.7 x the density over 16F MPO
  • Push-pull boot
  • Low-loss offered in 16F
  • Allows up to 3,456 fibers per 1RU
  • Wide range of connector and adapter types for legacy upgrades or greenfield applications

Max Patch Panel Densification

Maximum Patch Panel Densification

The SN-MT connector can be used in high-density patch panels to connect legacy MPO-based transceivers or next-generation transceivers using the SN-MT interface. Up to 3456 fibers can be managed in a single 1RU patch panel, significantly optimizing space and performance. This makes it an ideal solution for data centers and telecommunications networks requiring high fiber counts and efficient cable management.

Faster data center

75% Faster Data Center Interconnects

Connect between data centers 75% faster using hyper-dense ribbon trunks with 3000+ fibers. The SN-MT connector is so compact that it can be deployed directly from the packaging without the need for time-consuming and risky on-site assembly. This streamlined deployment process not only reduces installation time but also minimizes potential errors, enhancing overall network reliability and efficiency.

800G Transceivers

800G and 1.6TB Transceivers

The next step in the evolution of Intensity Modulated-Direct Detect (IM-DD) Optics is the increase of data rate from 100Gbps to 200Gbps per wavelength. This advancement offers significant benefits, including lower cost per bit, reduced power consumption, and higher capacity. As a result, it enables more efficient and cost-effective data transmission, making it a crucial development for modern optical communication systems.
