The OPTRES Gel Cleaning Pad by Tomoegawa uses a optical grade cleaning gel. he cleaning process is a simple. Pull back the cover and touch he end face onto the gel. The guide pins of male MPO connectors will penetrate into the gel to clean the whole surface of a MT ferrule plus guide pins. The Optres Gel Cleaning Pad compact size makes it ideal for use with test equipment and network installation cleaning kits. The gel material is non toxic and not flammable.

The Optres Gel Cleaning Pad from Tomoegawa uses an engineered gel material that will conform to the end face geometry of single fiber and MT connectors. The gel causes dust particles on the connector end face to adhere and stay trapped in gel when contact is made. The guide pins of male MPO connectors will penetrate into the gel material enabling you to clean the whole surface of the MT end face. Tomoegawa’s gel material will not leave a residue behind.
