Sales Administrator

This is a hybrid position with a minimum of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in office at the Poway, CA office.

The Sales Administrator is the first point of contact for all staff and guests in the Poway office and is responsible for creating a professional and engaging office environment by positive interactions with all visitors, vendors, customers, and staff. The Sales Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the sales department by running reports, following up on leads, coordinating sales events, and scheduling travel for the sales team. This position requires excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Receive visitors including maintaining logs and notifying appropriate personnel
- Answer incoming calls in a timely professional manner and direct calls to appropriate parties
- Keep reception area neat and professional at all times
- Maintain conference rooms
- Responsible for receiving, sorting, and distributing incoming mail, as well as assist with outcoming mail
- Compile and generate sales reports, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance metrics
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and provide insights to the sales team
- Follow up on leads generated by the sales team and marketing campaigns
- Update and maintain the customer relationship management (CRM) system with lead information, status
- Assist in qualifying leads and setting up appointments for the sales team
- Ensure all promotional materials and product samples are prepared and available for events
- Maintain records in CRM and other documentation systems; ensure data integrity
- Assist in organizing sales events such as tradeshows and internal sales meetings
- Assist in inspecting performing incoming and/or inventory inspection and assemblies as needed
- Help coordinate workshop programs

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent working experience required
- 3 years’ experience in a sales support or administrative role required
- Strong Microsoft Office skills with emphasis on Excel required
- Proficiency in CRM databases (NetSuite a plus)
- Ability to meet deadlines and balance multiple priorities
- Ability to assume responsibility and work independently with little or no supervision
- Proven administrative and organizational skills with ability to manage workload and effectively prioritize work

Salary Range:
$24 -$26 per hour
