$2,500 sign-on bonus after the successful completion of 90 days. The sign-on bonus is available exclusively to new employees who apply directly, not through a third-party recruiter. Looking for a self-motivated individual to join our West Coast team! The ideal candidate will lead the account development and penetration strategy for assigned customers or regions. They should be skilled at building and maintaining relationships with clients and work to provide exceptional customer service. The Senior Sales Account Manager will work directly with a specific group of customers to define, specify and implement Senko interconnect & passive component solutions. The Senior Sales Account Manager owns and manages the technical relationship with accounts in their territory and acts as a liaison between the customer, engineering and manufacturing to ensure customer needs are met while achieving business objectives. - Take ownership of the total sales cycle
- Identify opportunities, coordinate ideas, propose solutions, and understand results
- Maintain leadership role in the development of new accounts.
- Continued development of key relationships within existing customer base which includes coordination with inside sales and technical personnel to identify and grow additional opportunities within existing accounts.
- Input into and accountability for meeting the territory sales plan
- Maintain and have accountability for customer contact and sales forecasting data for the assigned customer base
- Coordinate and cooperate with other team members to jointly develop accounts within client sets spanning geographical boundaries
- Set the target accounts and continuously seek opportunities for direct dialogue
- Development of sales quotations and product sampling
- Analyze and problem solve situations as they arise
- Support marketing events such as trade shows
- Provide feedback to upper management on customer needs and requirements
- Travel to meet and maintain customers (40%-50% of time)

- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing projects or products involving tangible goods, preferably in a technology-driven or manufacturing environment.
- Previous 2 years’ experience with fiber optics, especially in data centers environments required.
- A background in managing technical products, particularly in the connectivity or telecommunications industry, is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate should have the ability to quickly learn and understand the technical specifications of fiber optic products.
- Experience working in global markets or coordinating with cross-functional teams across different regions is strongly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), with additional knowledge of project management software and CRM tools being a plus.

SENKO is looking for a driven and team-oriented individual to join our collaborative company focused on product development for a growing fiber optic market. The main purpose of this role is to support the Product Management Group with engineering related activities to develop new fiber optic connectivity and passive technology solutions. The individual will often work directly with the customer to understand their needs and requirements. The applicant will have the ability to lead the customer in the right direction and assist them in determining solutions with a current product or customizing of a product to suit their needs.
The Application Engineer must possess the ability to be a fiber optic technical lead of the Product Management Group and move projects forward based on challenges that arise. The applicant will be expected to analyze information as it comes in and make educated decisions on the information discovered. The applicant will be expected to communicate findings internally and directly with customers. - Assist with the introduction of new products and technologies, ensuring a smooth transition from R&D to the market.
- Provide technical expertise on fiber optic products and applications to both internal teams and customers.
- Offer technical feedback on designs and applications to enhance product performance and customer satisfaction.
- Operate fiber optic test equipment to validate R&D designs, experiments, and product performance.
- Handle fiber processing tasks such as stripping, ribbonizing, cleaving, crimping, splicing, polishing, and conducting geometric and visual connector inspections.
- Deliver on-site application support and training to customers when required.
- Build strong technical and commercial relationships with customers, internal teams, suppliers, and third-party organizations.
- Assess customer requests to determine technical feasibility and coordinate with development engineering on specifications and performance standards.
- Draft, validate, and edit technical documents, including Application Notes and White Papers.
- Support sales by understanding customer requirements and delivering technical presentations as needed.
- Present product modifications or final products to customers and gather feedback.
- Help establish and manage in-house and external testing protocols.
- Contribute to product development by identifying new product ideas, market opportunities, and benchmarking industry trends.
- Document product applications by preparing application notes on features, functions, operational requirements, and warnings, and ensuring updates are provided as necessary.
- Provide insights into competitor applications and support product development by tracking industry applications.
- Address customer application needs through research, engineering techniques, and by verifying application performance, ensuring a seamless transition to manufacturing.
